Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days after the purchase date. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we won't be able to offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For bales of Pine Straw and Salt Hay, bales must still be twine bound to be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If you'd like to return your purchase, please email us at info(at)MidAtlanticPineStraw(dot)com with "Return of [Order # (your order number)] in the subject of the email. (It's also easy to reply to your order confirmation email.)

Refund Process

Once we have a chance to review your return request, we will give you instructions on how and where to return your order. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and will refund your order accordingly.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Shipping returns

Customers are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers can either ship on their own label or request a return label from us (since we typically get better rates than retail carrier rates). If we provide the shipping label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
